Roger Roger

Welcome once again! What's this? A new post that isn't separated from the others by months on end? Weird! I'm gonna try and keep that up, but I'm also not holding my breath, haha.

Anyway, on to the fun stuff!

As you can see, I started painting Star Wars Legion models. I bought the starter for The Galactic Republic and the CIS, as I've always had a soft spot in my heart for armies of robots controlled by a select few people (mainly myself) looking to conquer and rule the galaxy.

Well, enough about my megalomaniacal self, time to talk shop about these droids.

The B1 battle droids are pretty easy to paint in large batches, honestly.

I started with a black spray primer, with a misting of white spray primer on top for a little bit of countershading madness.

I then proceeded to paint the battle droids with a 50/50 mix of Abbadon black and Zandri dust.

I then layered that up to Zandri dust on its own, and finally highlighted the models with Zandri dust mixed 50/50 with Ushabti bone.

I then gave them a light wash of agrax earthshade in the recesses. I finished up with touch ups and moved on to the weapons and eyes.

Well that's it for me this month folks, keep coming by, I'll have lots more droids (and other things, knowing me) in the next little bit. And remember, if you have any questions or comments, let me know in the comments section below.
