The skin on the troll was started with a Mechanicus Standard grey base, which was then layered with a 50/50 of mech grey and Dawnstone. This was then layered with Dawnstone and washed with nuln oil. It doesn't look half bad, and is very simple to use. For the red, I used my patented red blend of Khorne red base, Wazdakka red/Khorne red mix, Wazdakka red layer, evil sunz scarlet layer and a wash of Carroburg crimson at the end.
The silver on the chains, and the hammer were painted with Leadbelcher, and then given a wash of nuln oil
That's it for me this week. I do apologize for not posting as often lately. I started an internship at an animal rehabilitation facility lately and haven't been able to make much time for painting, but soon I shall have a much larger piece to show next time, so stay tuned and beat the heat.
