Farrow: A beginning

Hi again internetsland, today I'll be showing the start of what shall be my fledgling Farrow force, for the privateer press game Hordes.

This is what I have all together and built

After my Farrow had been built, I sprayed them with some good ol' army painter, the coloured primer rat fur. I thought this would be a prudent start as it shall cut down on my time to paint them because I want an orageish colour to their skin, which is mostly what shall unify them as a coherent force, where if I want to do something different just to change things up I can make their fur different colours.

I then decided I should start with what I feel shall be my centrepiece figures. The War Hog, and the Gun Boars. On all three of the models (the one war hog and two gun boars) I started by painting the metal with some citadel leadbelcher to help my eye differentiate from the rest of the model. I then got to work on the skin, where I used bestigor flesh to start, and am currently working my way up to ungor flesh.

There's still a great deal of work left on these guys, but once I get them the way I want them, they're going to look absolutely phenomenal.

Thanks for taking a look internetsland. I'll be back soon with more updates, and keep an eye out for my next post as I'm entereing the monthly brushmasters competition at my local GW. This month its a tech priest Dominus and I've already got him built

I can't wait to have him done! Goodnight everybody.
