Ahoy Me Harties!! Brineblood Marauder Pirates

 You all thought I was only going to do a couple teasers for my business today, didn't you? For shame! I would never! I mean, I might but not today.

So here are some pictures of the latest unit I've finished for my Brineblood Marauders.

The orange and yellow and the green scales are all the same from my reef troll. The blue is a nice deep blue that started with Caledor Sky with a touch of black, the  straight Caledor Sky, afterwards that was layered with Teclis Blue, and then a 50/50 mix of Teclis Blue with Lothern Blue for highlights, a wash of Nuln Oil, and then I went over the highlights again to make them pop.

I wanted to do the skin quite differently from what is normally done for the Trollbloods. Just because I can. And because blue on blue doesn't exactly pop. I'll be releasing a video on how I did the skin and the scales very soon ( but I also want to make sure I get a decent post out today, and video editing is a pain in the butt and takes so much time 😆).

I reckon I should start bringing my light box up to camp with me whenever I go so I can take proper pictures of everything. We'll see though, I have so many models and the rest of my luggage it makes it moderately difficult to do, but it might be worth it in the long run.

Another little teaser!

I think that so far this fella is coming along really, really nicely. First time I've sculpted a lion head and I gotta say, I did pretty darn good.

Teaser Eggs

 Good day everyone!

I have more good news today! I have a new product coming out for Dark Warrior Games. I have sculpted a nest of Drake Eggs to use as either scatter terrain, as objectives or, if you're feeling very creative, as additions to any very large basing project or diorama!

On a side note, I think I'm getting better at making gifs, but you tell me. 

Once I put it up on my cults shop I'll add the link here for ease of access.

Good News Everyone!

 I've begun my journey as an entrepreneur! I have zero clue as to what I should be doing if I'm being perfectly honest, so this is as much a journey for me as it is trying to gain experience and be the best darned business person I can be!

Of course this will still be my hobby blog and I will still very much be hobbying, but if you're wondering where I've been, that's where. Bombs Away!

 Ok, so I started getting into Aeronautica Imperialis and Legions Imperialis because.... I dunno I felt like it I guess, haha! What better reason is there for a hobby?

So to start, I grabbed a box of marauder bombers (as well as some Eldar ships) before they changed boxes/turned it to HH/phased out all Xenos races because I figured, heck I'd like to at least have a few Eldar ships for a diorama and to play with later on down the road, and the marauder bombers would be great for a Solar Auxilia force, then that way I could play against friends without them having to buy into either game and maybe film some battle reports. 

Anyway here's some models, sorry for the long winded explanation of "I wanted models, so I bought models" hahaha!!

I went for a two toned colour scheme on this one, kind of like a natural counter shading camouflage where the top would look like the forests below and the bottom would look lighter like the polluted sky above. 

For the green I went with a natural progression from Castellan Green, to Deathworld Forest mixing all the way up to Ogryn Camo for the edge highlights.

Clone Barc Speeder

 Yeah I still don't think I've quite gotten the hang of painting up clone troopers yet. They're all white with some coloured accents!! Where do you go from there?! Ah oh well, I'll figure out a better way. I have Clone Commander Cody to paint up yet and I think I'll do a much better job on him. Either way, I also need to work on my OSL (that's object source lighting for any of the noobs that don't know) and I think working with these clones will be the perfect opportunity for me to do that. 

Looking at it now, I think I could also do a better job in the indented lines. Maybe I could grab some of that Tamiya line paint and test that out.
